Imagine the story of Snow White without the witch.
In most stories, villains make virtue interesting and provides the plot.
The villain makes the main character life miserable by sabotaging his intentions.
If you do not have a dangerous adversary, that is complex and well-written, your hero will not get the opportunity to face the kind of competition that conj-our up riveting dramatic conflict.
In order for your viewers not to dose off, your villain must sorely test your hero.
Also you must not have too many villains it will make your writing unfocused.
And remember give the same dedicated attention to your villain as you do to your hero.
